What we collect

Account details: your email address and, if you sign in with Google, your name and profile picture.

Your plan: the answers you give during onboarding (state, type of test, age group, driving experience, test date, daily study time) and the quick check results.

Study activity: questions you answer, lessons you finish, mock test results. We use these to schedule reviews and calculate your readiness.

Purchases: the plan you bought, the amount, and Stripe's payment references. Card details go directly to Stripe and never reach our servers.

Technical data: your IP address (used briefly to limit abuse of sign-in codes) and standard server logs kept by our hosting provider.

Google sign-in

If you choose Google sign-in, we receive your Google account identifier, email address, name and profile picture URL. We use these details to sign you in, create or link your Steerivo account, and display your profile. We store these account details in our Cloudflare database and remove them when you delete your Steerivo account in Settings. We do not save Google access tokens or refresh tokens.

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies that the site needs to work: a sign-in cookie (sv_session), a cookie that tells public pages you're signed in (sv_in), and a short-lived cookie during Google sign-in (sv_oauth). We don't use advertising cookies.

Your onboarding answers are kept in your browser's local storage until you create an account.

Who processes data for us

Cloudflare (hosting, database and file storage), Stripe (payments), Google (if you choose Google sign-in) and our email provider (sign-in codes). Each processes data only to provide its service to us.

Email

We email you sign-in codes and purchase receipts (sent by Stripe). We only send study tips and offers if you tick the box to receive them, and every such email has an unsubscribe link. You can also change this in Settings.

Children

Steerivo is for people 13 and older. Learners under 18 should use Steerivo with a parent's or guardian's permission. If you believe a child under 13 has created an account, contact us and we will delete it.

Your choices and rights

You can see and change your plan in Settings, and delete your account and all study data at any time (Settings → Delete my account). Depending on where you live (for example California), you may have rights to access, correct or delete your information; email us and we will respond within 30 days.

How long we keep data

We keep your account while it's active. When you delete it, your profile, progress and sessions are removed right away. Payment records are kept by Stripe as required for tax and accounting.
